                        Have You Ever Thought About Becoming A Ski Patroller?  Here’s How.

Volunteer and paid patroller membership requirements of National Ski Patrol members include:

1. Association with a local patrol as an alpine skier or snowboarder, nordic patroller, or auxiliary patroller.

2. Ability to log in a minimum of 10 patrolling sessions each year with your local patrol.

3. Complete credentialed courses and annual training, refreshers, and continuing education in Outdoor Emergency Care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR-BLS for Health Care Providers or CPR-BLS for the Professional Rescuer).

4. This course begins on Thursday, June 22, 2006, at UDC Medical Center, 4400 V St., Sacramento.  The class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6 PM to10 PM.  The final test is scheduled for Saturday, Sept 30th.  There will also be one other Saturday date, Jul 15th, for the CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
