Required items for patroller pack for OEC class

· 1 - box/utility knife

· 6 - cravats (42” to 48” )

· 4 - quart Ziploc bags

· 6 - large safety pins

· 1 - 6” wooden dowel

· 2 - 4" roller bandage (conforming/Kling/self adhering )

· 2 - 3” roller bandage (conforming/Kling/self adhering)

· 1 - 2" roller bandage (conforming/Kling/self adhering)

· 10 - 4x4 dressings (non-sterile)

· 1 - 2" adhesive tape

· 1 - 1" adhesive tape

· 1 - paramedic shears

· 1 - flashlight - small penlight

· 1 ea. - oral airways (adult, child, infant)

· 1 ea. - nasal airways (adult, child, infant)

· 2 - Kotex pads or large absorbent pads

· 1 - cotton balls in Ziploc (to simulate ice pack)

· 2 - tongue depressors

· 1 – glucose pack

· 1 – occlusive dressing (aluminum foil makes a good one also)

· 1 – pocket mask

· 1 - box of protective gloves

· 1 - SAM splint (or make your own !)

· 1 - 6’ of rope (to practice tying knots in class)

· 1 - oxygen wrench and gasket (secured together with small nylon tie-wrap)
